University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) is one of the constituent school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, ‘A’ Grade accreditation from NAAC. The University School of Chemical Technology recognizes the importance of Chemical Industry and the need for trained manpower. The school has been established with the twin objective of generating effective trained professionals and to keep pace with R&D activities of this fast changing field of Chemical Technology. The School has been established to design and implement courses with the aim of imparting quality education.
Dr. Mahesh Verma
Dr. Mahesh Verma the new Vice-Chancellor of GGSIP University has earlier served as the Director of Maulana Azad Medical Institute of Dental Sciences. He is a recipient of Padma Shri and he is a fellow of many eminent associations. He has been associated with the Royal College of Surgeons & Physicians, Glasgow; Royal College of Surgeons, England; Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh; International College of Oral Implantologist and American Dental Association. He is an Indian prosthodontist, making him the first Dental doctor to receive the Padma Shri.
Prof. UK Mandal
Prof. Uttam Kumar Mandal is Dean of University School of Chemical Technology. He holds a Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur. His area of research interest includes Polymer Engineering and Technology; Nanostructure materials and composite; Separation Science & Technology; Catalytic water treatment. He holds almost 38 publications in International journals and has an outstanding experience of more than 25 years of teaching.

This symposium is the perfect blend of various events, competitions, seminars, quizzes, paper presentations and many more. Chemchord gives students a platform to showcase their talent provide an exemplary learning experience for the whole chemical engineering society.
